First thing I checked was if this was going to bother my cat, he didn't notice it at all. The first night we heard the creature of the night gnawing away in the wall as usual but within seconds it stopped. This repeated the second night and then they jerk moved to the one room where the noise wasn't as loud. All it took was opening up cupboards to tick him off and again he retreated. On the third day, the noise was too much and he came out of the wall during the day, the cat proclaimed himself the master hunter and dropped the dazed rodent on my foot. Awesome. So it takes a bit of teamwork but this did certainly help get rid of Mickey. Worked better than my idea of setting up our old Mousetrap game and putting a piece of cheese under the net.

I'm not sure what it's doing but it is working. You can't hear it but the mouse can, and the mouse is now only in the basement. Doesn't come up!

WORKED INSTANTLY

While I'm waiting for my second order to arrive. I walk past the room where I put my repeller. Guess what I found... 2 mice stuck in a glue trap that I placed 2 months ago that hasn't caught anything except a spider. As I thought it could be a coincidence, I found THREE more in another glue trap. All next to the room I placed the repeller. 2 of them still alive. I'm impressed and I would recommend this item.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT

I haven't seen a mouse at all in my basement apartment since we bought these. There is a slight humming sound but to be honest you have to be super close to it or dead silent and listening hard for it to hear it. I have one in my bedroom and I never notice it at all. I will say if you have pets don't use this. I'm currently living away from my cats, but when I move in with them I'll have to give these away to a friend without pets. I can't guarantee this will cure a huge infestation or anything, but I live in the basement of an older home and it kept the mice away.

I bought this for my cottage. 1st thing is well, this device does make a noise that I'm sensitive to. Yes, it does. But it works really well. We had a mice problem. The mice were in the walls and we could hear them scratching every night we would go up to the cottage. So what we did is leave these devices plugged in while we were away. When we came back the cottage was as silent as could be. We bought 2 boxes and plugged 6 devices in the cottage. No more mice.

I have only ever had one mouse in our house on the acreage, captured it right away. After that mouse, I bought these as a precautionary step. Haven't seen another mouse or any signs of a mouse in the house. The noise emitted is not noticeable, if you shut everything off and listened, you could hear it buzzing, but I have one right by the front door which is in our living room and its been going on nearly a year and we don't notice any sound while living day to day in our house. I also put enclosed poison traps around the house outside. Those traps have had some feedings, so hopefully, they are taking care of the mice before they even get in the house.
